INTENSIVE DRIVING COURSES
Would an intensive driving course be the right route for you?
The courses are ideal for you if:
- You have taken a driving test before and don’t wish
to spend several months improving your skills to be back up to test standard.
- You would like to compact the time it takes to a shorter
period.
- You need your driving licence as a condition of employment.
You will of course need sufficient
funds and time available for the courses.
Intensive courses aren’t the easy option to gaining your full driving licence.
You have to need to have passed
your theory test before you can begin a course.
Your practical driving test will be booked for you once your deposit has been received
and before the start of your chosen course.
What can I offer you?
I will provide you with all the practical knowledge and experience I have as a fully qualified
driving instructor.
You need to be honest with yourself about your abilities. After your assessment lesson
we will both have a better idea of what is required. I will assess you to the best of my professional ability and I will be
nothing but honest with you. Please keep in mind we are only human and that I would be a very happy and successful instructor
if I could promise everyone a first time pass! On the day your practical driving
test is only down to one person…..And that person is YOU!
If you are not currently a pupil with Road Runner (Driver Training) then I will require
you to take a one hour assessment lesson which is charged at the normal hourly rate of £23.50.
Once this has taken place then I can advise you on which
course will be best for you.

COURSES AND PRICE LIST
If you are a complete beginner who has no practical driving experience then the only course
available to you with Road Runner is option “F” (40 hr course).
The
time table shown above is just an indication of the time to complete each intensive course they can be spread over a shorter
time period to suit your individual needs and commitments.
The
total cost for each course includes:
- The number of hours training
- The DSA (Driving Standards Agency) practical test fee
- Hire of car for practical test including pre
test lesson (2.5 hours in total)
Completion
of the course unfortunately cannot and does not guarantee a pass
I
am interested – what should I do next?
- To secure an Intensive Driving Course with Road Runner (Driver Training) I require a deposit of £100. I use this to pay
for the practical driving test fee, which is payable to the DSA (Driving Standards Agency).
- To remain secure the FULL BALANCE of the course should be paid by a minimum of 10 working
days before the start date that we have agreed.
- The Practical Driving Test waiting times can vary from 1 to 12 weeks, so please
contact Helen ASAP to avoid any disappointment. On average I have about a 4 week waiting list for intensive driving courses.
Refund
for pupil cancellation are made according to the following schedule
6-10
Working days inclusive – 50% refund
1-5
Working days inclusive - 25% refund
Once
the course has started then the cost is non-refundable as this lesson time will be unable to be filled.

Please note that working days are Monday to Friday. Weekends are not included*
Refunds
for instructor cancellation are made according to the following schedule
1+ working day = 100% refund
Once
the driving course has started I offer 100% refund on balance of lessons not yet taken plus test fee if this has been forfeited
If
you wish I will endeavor to find a substitute instructor to continue the course. In this case no refund will be payable.
Refunds
for cancellation by the DSA are made according to the following schedule
If
the DSA cancel the driving test, I cannot be held responsible. I will help you to fill out the claim form, which will entitle
you to a new test date.
